The Agency for Urban Environment would like to procure a contractor for the public transport measures Bispegate with Oslo torg project.
The aim of the project is to facilitate for public transport, as well as to get a street with an important cycle route. In addition, the project will establish Oslo torg, as well as carry out water and sewage alteration work. Bispegata is regulated as a public transport road on the stretch from Trelastgate up to St Halvards gate.

Bispegata is regulated as a public transport road on the stretch from Trelastgate up to St Halvards gate.
The tram network connection between Ekebergbanen and the centre of Oslo currently goes via Schweigaards gate. Ruter, Sporveien and Oslo municipality have had a long-term plan to alter Ekebergbanen from Schweigaards gate to Dronning Eufemias gate and Bispegata. Dronning Eufemias gate has been completed, whilst the new tram route remains in Bispegata.
The tram network connection between Ekebergbanen and the centre of Oslo currently goes via Schweigaards gate. Ruter, Sporveien and Oslo municipality have had a long-term plan to alter Ekebergbanen from Schweigaards gate to Dronning Eufemias gate and Bispegata. Dronning Eufemias gate has been completed, whilst the new tram route remains in Bispegata.
The project includes a total upgrade of Bispegata, from Dyvekes bridge to Kong Håkon 5 gt. A new tram route is to be established from Oslo torg, which will be connected to the existing track at the junction KH5 gate — Dronning Eufemias gate. To the west of BaneNor's culvert the street is to be founded across its entire width with concrete slabs on steel core piles as a geotechnical safety measure. Separate stops are to be established for buses and trams between the culvert and Trelastgata. The entire street is to have a concrete cover between Trelastgata and Oslo torg. Oslo gate and the stretch between KH5 gt and Trelastgata is to be established with an asphalt cover. A new water and sewage crossing is to be established over BaneNOR's culvert and new water and sewage installations are to be established in conjunction with the construction of a piled slab.
