The objective and scope of the contract:
— the competition is for a contract for a firewall with a service contract for the new Lillestrøm municipality,
— the system shall cover the municipality's need for a firewall between the data processing centre and the internet. A completely new data processing centre shall be built,
— the offered system must allow for future growth in traffic,
— the contract's value is estimated to be above the EEA threshold. The volume is an estimate and, thus, not binding. See part 2, requirement specifications, for further information, lots and alternative tenders,
— tenders cannot be submitted for parts of the assignment, and alternative tenders are not allowed,
— the contracting authority has considered splitting the contract in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations §19-4, but has decided that this is not suitable.
