The scheme shall provide the participants individually facilitated follow-up assistance that is required for getting or keeping ordinary paid work employment.
The follow-up shall be integrated in the treatment at St. Olavs Hospital in accordance with Individual placement and support (IPS).
The first phase of the scheme shall include the establishment of 3 job specialists teams comprising a total of 8 job specialists positions. Provided that the scheme achieves the expected results, the contract can be extended to include one or several departments after a period of approx. 1 year. In such case the contract can be extended to include up to 8 additional job specialist positions.

Relevant participants to the scheme are patients at St. Olavs Hospital who wish to get or keep ordinary paid work employment and who have requirements for more comprehensive communication and follow-up than the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV) can offer. The participants are patients at day and night, day or out-patient departments. The contracting authority prioritises participants younger than 30 years. The participants have different individual requirements and can include persons with both moderate as well as comprehensive assistance requirements for getting or keeping employment.
