Helse Midt Norge ("HMN") (the Central Norway Regional Health Authority) shall procure a solution for Digital Pathology (‘DPS’).
The digital pathology solution (‘DPS’) should cover the following main areas:

Helse Midt Norge ("HMN") [the Central Norway Regional Health Authority] shall procure a solution for Digital Pathology (‘DPS’).

The digital pathology solution (‘DPS’) should fulfil the following goals:

— flexible in regard to the support needs to both large and smaller pathology laboratories in the same solution.

— future-oriented in regard to further development to be able to meet future regulatory requirements, and the technical and functional development in the sector.

— user-friendly by being intuitive, logical and efficient in the user interface and work-flow

— improve the quality and patient’s safety.

— increase the efficiency of work processes and optimise information flow.

— storage of pictures and retrieval.

— slideshow with annotation functionality.

— diagnostics assisted by image analysis.

— image division and conference functionality.

The DPS solution shall build on the infrastructure of the Central Norway Regional Health Authority and shall be able to integrate with the existing and future infrastructure services and solutions.

The procurement of the infrastructure will not be a part of this contract, as this will be procured through existing agreements.

Beskrivelse av fornyelser:

The adaptation contract will have a duration until the solution is rolled out to the laboratories that are included in the agreement. The maintenance agreement will be continuous and indefinite. It is anticipated that the solution will be in the region for several years. The estimated extent is 8 years. There is uncertainty connected to the time and cost estimate.

The DPS system must be built on Helse Midt Norge's infrastructure and it must be able to integrate it with the existing and future infrastructure services and systems. The procurement of the infrastructure will not be a part of this contract, as this will be procured through existing agreements.
