The contracting authority would like tenders for engineering design services for a foot/cycle bridge over Otra from Kjøita to Rådhusgata and the necessary GEO surveys.
Tenders must include all engineering design services for and the execution of a GEO report.
The competition is a service delivery, which according to its value, will be carried out in accordance with the public procurement regulations, parts I and III.
The legal contract party will be Kristiansand municipality, c/o the Engineering Unit.

The engineering design services and ground surveys, and the submission of a GEO report must be in accordance with the description. The foundations on both sides of Otra, the foundations in the river, access to the bridge and access to affected houses must be included in the engineering design services.

The preparation of the contract basis must be included for the fabrication, transport and assembly of the bridge, as well as a description of the rigging area, progress plan and a cost estimate for the rigging, site, fabrication, transport and assembly. This must include street lights.

The volume and calculation of hours are estimates. The contract will be based on hours used for the engineering design services. In addition to the requirements set in this enquiry, the contract will be based on NS8402 “General Contract Terms for Consultancy Assignments Remunerated According to Time Spent“.

Sub-suppliers will be allowed. The executing engineering design contractor and subsuppliers must have the required competence for the work that will be carried out. See the qualification requirements.
The contract shall apply for assignments that are carried out and approved by the builder.
Completion of the engineering design services: 10.1.2019.
Prices given in the tender must be fixed for the entire project.
Steel foot/cycle bridge, closed construction, engineered in accordance with hand book N400 and the accompanying regulations and circular letter, as well as the road norm for Kristiansand municipality. The width is 4.0 m and the total length is approx. 200 m.
