Construction of Jordal sports park

Oslo kommune v/ Bymiljøetaten

Oslo municipality, c/o the Agency for Urban Environment, hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the procurement of a contractor for the construction of Jordal sports park.
The project will be carried out as a general contract and it is a cooperation project between the Agency for Urban Environment and the Agency for Water and Sewage. The Agency for Urban Environment is the builder and will act as the contract party in the contract.
The project involves upgrading the park, stream opening, moving matter and technical infrastructure.
The park area around the amphitheatre is to be upgraded in connection with the construction of the new Jordal amphitheatre. The initiative area covers all of Jordal sports park from Hedmarksgata in the north to Åkebergveien in the south. The initiative does not cover areas close to the amphitheatre, nor the buildings, artificial grass pitch, grandstands or the skatepark.

Procurement of a contractor for the construction of Jordal sports park.

General need

The Agency for Urban Environment needs contractor services for the construction of Jordal sports park. The project involves upgrading the park, stream opening, moving matter and technical infrastructure.

The project mainly comprises:

— Large areas of park, streets and foot/cycle paths, as well as footpaths,

— Stream opening including laying a membrane,

— Concrete and wooden bridges,

— Concrete, wooden and natural stone steps,

— Concrete and natural stone walls,

— Stone coverings,

— Technical work, such as pipe pressing, sheet piling pits,

— Moving and installation of new water and sewage pipelines,

— Manhole work,

— Removal of large amounts of matter,

— Dealing with polluted matter,

— Work in areas with quicksand,

— Electrical work, both moving existing and installing new infrastructure, as well as lighting,

— Planting,

— Coordination with other contractors,

— Dealing with interested parties.

The aim of the project is to fulfil the standing requirements for a permanent use licence for the new Jordal amphitheatre.

Need for coordination.

For information, NCC has been engaged as the total contractor for the construction of the new Jordal amphitheatre, with Culture and Sports Buildings as the contracting authority. This project will run simultaneously with the construction of the park and there will be close interface. A lot of coordination must be expected between the contractors and this must be priced as part of the rigging.
