This Contract will be split into 8 sub-contracts. One for each school group.
Each school group has a name from A-H.
All of the Education Department´s schools/teaching places that need to procure
ICT management services must make their procurements from the tenderer that signs the Framework Agreement. The chosen tenderer is, after an ordered is placed from a school, obliged to deliver in accordance with the Framework Agreement.
ICT management assignments
The ICT manager will also be responsible for carrying out ICT related assignments that require local presence at the school. Examples of assignments are the distribution of user names and passwords, installation of equipment, technical set-up for exams and the registration and follow-up of errors with the operations supplier CGI. The ICT manager will see to the contract between teachers and pupils and the service desk at CGI, including UDA´s own help desk and other roles that are a central part of the education administration. See annex 5 for further information on the ICT manager´s assignments.

The schools´ needs for resources for ICT management assignments vary. Large sixth form colleges often have several full-time employees and some also have apprentices. Smaller primary schools only require a few hours a week and, therefore, do not need a full-time position. The average job size for an ICT manager is estimated to be 30-80 %.

Based on this, the schools need to procure services equivalent to a fixed number of hours per week (equivalent to one job), or more sporadic assignments in periods with high activity, or in extraordinary situations.
