High speed camera

NTNU (The Norwegian University of Science and Technology)

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), the Institute for Product Development and Materials (IPM), teaches in technological subjects both on lower degree levels, as well as on master and PhD levels. The existing teaching system is organised as project assignments and as problem based teaching where the students are analysing problems and propose solutions, as well as modelling. The assignments are defined by industrial establishments and through the Institute's research projects. IPM conducts competitive research projects financed through internal and external funding. The equipment at the Institute must therefore comply with current quality requirements. In order to maintain this strategy, IPM requests a high speed camera for the expansion of the existing research projects, as well as open the possibilities for new research programmes concerning deformation and ruptures in advanced materials by using in-situ engineering.
