The municipalities of Frogn, Nesodden, Vestby and Ås have established a purchasing cooperative with a Joint Purchasing office — FIK, located in Vestby municipality.
The objective of the tender contest is to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of food products. Fresh meat, fruits and vegetables are not included in the agreement.
The framework agreements shall include delivery to all types of use locations in the municipalities, i.a. primary schools, lower secondary schools, day care facilities for school children, nursery schools, homes for the aged, nursing homes and other underlying institutions. The framework agreement does not include services related to training activities.
Private companies with main income from the Contracting Authority can, in accordance with further agreement, enter into the framework agreement.
The Contracting Authority's companies that implement competitive tendering or outsource their operations during the agreement period, can withdraw from the agreements.
