Flowcytometer — cell sorterer

The Institute for Cancer Research and Molecular Medicine at the Medical Faculty (NTNU) is announcing the procurement of a compact flow cytometry cell sorter integrated in a bio-safety level II cabinet, installed in a BSL 3 laboratory (Bio-Safety level 3).
The samples that shall be sorted and analysed include:
fluorochrome coloured and/or fluoridising protein transfected;
— living and fixed mammal cells;
— bacteria;
— virus;
— biopolymers;
— various solid monodisperse particles.
The instrument will mainly be used to sort and analyse living cells which are transfected with fluorescent proteins and infected with BSL2 and 3 bacteria and virus. The sorter will also be used to analyse mostly living or fixed cells for fluorescent tube coloured surface markers and intracelluar parameters.
If a tenderer has the development of new equipment/new technology that fulfils the contracting authority's obligatory requirements, we encourage the tenderer to offer this technology.
