The extent of the work is mainly to expand county road 44 Brusand with a left wing lane and the construction of a new diversion road to the north west of Brusand.
In connection with this work, the existing culvert under county road 44 shall be demolished and reconstructed with a height and width that fulfils the current requirements. As the bottom of the culvert will be lowered compared to the current level, the adjoining ramps must be adjusted accordingly.
A new foot and cycle path shall be developed by both county road 44 and the new diversion road and the car park at the new junction shall be expanded.
5 new noise reduction screens shall be established in the plan area, including by holiday home properties in the south and by the Brusand residential area.
The work also includes comprehensive alterations to the area's water and sewage system, with an emphasis on the surface water system. A new route shall be established for surface water pipelines from Stokkalandsvegen to Rennå.
The installation will also consist of 3 concrete constructions, 2 for the road development and 1 for the surface water system's emission at Rennå.

A new route shall be developed for surface water pipelines from Stokkalandsvegen to Rennå of approx. 700 m, consisting of 3 pipelines of 1 200 m.Otherwise the main installation includes the following elements:51 sewage manholes;5 water manholes;approx. 233 m wastewater pipeline, dimension 160 mm PVC;approx. 3 385 m surface water pipeline dimension 300-1 200 mm concrete pipe;approx. 116 m surface water pipeline dimension 500-1 200 mm PE;approx. 927 m water pipeline 110- 250 mm PVC and PE;Well points shall be used for lowering ground water.The installation will also consist of 3 concrete constructions, 2 for the road development and 1 for the surface water system's emission at Rennå.
