Bærum municipality's planning environment will have major area planning assignments including, amongst other things, a review of the municipal plan's area and the municipal sector plan for Fornebu, reviews of Sandvika sea front and Lysaker intersection, as well as developments in the Sandvika and Bekkestua area, including Hamang/Industriveien/Franzefoss, Høvik and Ballerud/Bekkestua south/Kleivveien. The assignments will form the basis for further work on the development strategy for each area. The aim can be to show the areas' development potential and possibilities for gradual development over time. The planning process shall, through feasibility studies, ensure a broad range of ideas for use in and design of the area and it shall contribute to public debate. There could also be assignments of a more special character, which show possible solutions for traffic/transport and/or map general challenges for carrying out technical installations. The contracting authority also has a need to get the necessary basic material in place for development contracts, i.e. define the quality level of the infrastructure, open spaces, squares and other public areas, the need for upgrading technical infrastructure and calculate costs for relevant alternatives. The tenderer must have a close cooperation with the municipality's specialist departments and landowners. The work will eventually lead to development contracts (cost distribution), possible implementation models and risk management. The aim of the procurement is to cover Bærum municipality's need for competence and resources for various assignments and analyses for coming town and urban development projects. The municipal plan's area strategy sets the regional plan for area and transport and condensing intersections will be a central part. All development shall be in accordance with the guidelines that Bærum municipality shall be a climate-wise municipality.
