Compact shelving for The Science Museum at NTNU

The NTNU Science Museum, Section for natural history in Trondheim shall refurbish their store rooms in central Trondheim. Delivery and assembly of a complete store room fit out shall be offered, as described below.
In order for the Contracting Authority to assess the composition of the product/solution based on the tenderer's tender offer, we request sufficient documentation to best evaluate the offer(s), as well as a quotation on the offered system proposals for defined rooms with any proposals for replacement and or additional solutions.
Cardboard boxes in three different format shall be stored, and it is of significant importance for the selection of tenderer that the described capacity and an increase of capacity are satisfied. Alternative solution proposals can also be presented, but these must satisfy the Contracting Authority's minimum requirements for new shelving and the requested capacity. Currently, the Contracting Authority estimates a need for approx. 6 000 boxes in the stated formats, but this may change over time. The need for storage will increase significantly during the next 20 — 30 years (estimated to have a minimum 30-40 % increase).
In the announcement documents you will find attached drawings that show the design of the premises, as well as the desired placement of the shelves.
The free height from the top of the current floor and to the under edge of the beams in the roof is approx. 2 700 mm. However, there are two ventilation pipe routes under the roof (see indication in the attached drawing). The distance from the current floor to the underside of the pipes varies somewhat, but is mainly between approx. 2 000 mm and approx. 2 250 mm, cf, the sectional drawing for the floor.
