Avinor shall expand central areas of Stavanger Airport Sola (henceforth referred to as SLS — US01). The expansion comprised the expansion of the check-in hall and a storage building that is already in process of being built, as well as an expanded arrival and custom area (this tender notice). The bottom plate is approx. 2 300 m. The building shall be founded on friction piles that are founded on a depth of 35-40 metres.

The pile footing, the lift pit and the bottom plate including integrally cast, shall be cast on-site The Supporting columns shall be made of prefabricated concrete combined with steel columns. The remaining surfaces comprises open hole covers at the HSQ beams as well as steel and prefabricated concrete columns.

This contract shall cover the requirement for the delivery and ramming piles as well as execution of structures cast on-site with an integrally casted bottom plate. The preliminary schedule for the implementation is from 1.2.2016 until 1.7.2016.
Examples of works that may be included in the contract:
— Erections of workers' huts for the builder,
— Delivery and ramming of friction piles,
— Pile footing cast on-site as well as the expansion of the current pile footings,
— Lift mine cast on-site, executed as a water tight structure,
— Bottom plate cast on-site, EPS insulation, radon block and integrally cast with antifriction layer,
— Floor heating in integrally cast is subject to a different contract.
Other conditions:
— The contract area will be located at the land side (the white zone) during the entire construction period.
— The Airport will be in operation during the construction works. This must be taken into considerations by the contractor.
— The expansion shall be constructed towards existing structures. This will increase the difficulty of the construction works.
— In the construction area, there are some existing cables, including a high voltage cable. These must be safeguarded.
