Procurement of a crew vehicle for Halden Fire-fighting Service

Halden kommune (Halden municipality)

The procurement of a new crew vehicle. The new vehicle shall comply with the current requirements to fire-fighting and rescuing services for the inhabitants of Halden municipality. The vehicle shall have room for a driver plus 4 crew members. The vehicle shall contain extinguishing water, CAFS oxyacetylene torch extinguisher and rescue equipment. The engine shall have a power which as a minimum provides 16, 5 kW tonnes for each vehicle that is ready for emergency call-outs. The vehicle shall have a 4 wd (4 x 4) and an automatic transmission.
All operating mechanisms shall, if possible, have instructions in Norwegian or symbols that are in accordance with Norwegian standards.
The vehicle shall be registered as a lorry and comply with the prevailing regulations on emergency vehicles.
The vehicle shall provide optimum safety for the crew members and conditions relating to conditions, environment and safety. The chassis must have access to a service workshop in the immediate vicinity of Halden.
A separate requirement specification has been prepared.
