Low temperature magnetic power microscope

The Contracting Authority wants to procure 1 low temperature magnetic power microscope which will allow for magnetic field image processing and magnetisation reversal studies on a nano level. This instrument will be used to examine magnetic thin films and nano-magnets with dimensions that vary from 50 nm to several microns. The instrument shall manage sample sizes in the order of 5 mm x 5 mm x 0.5 mm.
Ferromagnetic materials with TC well under room temperature will also be of interest and temperature dependant measurements will be important if the system is to be able to measure cryogenic temperatures, preferable <10 K. The operational costs of the instrument should be limited, and a closed cycle cryostat will therefore be necessary.
For our experiments, the ability to apply a magnetic field to the sample surface is important. A magnet with a maximum field of at least 3 T in tests will be necessary. Furthermore, it will be important to have the possibility to precisely provide small fields (1 mt).
The system will have multiple users, and should be easy to use and maintain.
