Qualified strength calculations of the construction must be presented before delivery.e) Grates along the entire pit's length and equivalent width must be integrated in the driving ramp for the inspection pit. There must be drains under the grates down to the drainage system for wastewater. There shall be heating cables under the grates that prevent wastewater freezing to ice before it reaches the drainage system. The heating cables shall have adjustable heat and they shall be connected to a joint control panel that is in the office building. The heating cables must ensure that the driving ramp is free for snow and ice down to — 8° C.f) An integrated wear tester (cross-check) for heavy vehicles shall be integrated in the driving ramp, with the capacity to carry out wear tests on axel loads of up to 20 tons. The tester shall be a minimum an eight-way type with a minimum movement of total 10 cm.g) All the aggregates and operational systems that are included in the inspection pit, wear tester and jack shall be integrated. It shall also be possible to integrate the operational system for brake tests.h) The inspection pit shall be delivered with a floor assembled certified hydraulic lifting jack with a minimum capacity of 20 tons and which, via rails in the floor, can be moved along the entire length of the pit.The inspection pit must be equipped with sufficient work lighting, a ventilation system and a drainage system.j) An escape route is required every ten metres in the inspection pit, i.e. in order to fulfil this requirement there shall be stairs at both ends, as well as an approved sideways inn/out emergency exit in the middle of the inspection pit. Access to/from this is secured with access that is not an obstacle for vehicles that are to be inspected. The access is to be secured with the necessary railings and coordinated with the supplier of the roof superstructure and foundations.k) It must be possible to adjust the standing height at the bottom of the pit in relation to what is being inspected.l) Wear testers and brake rolls shall be placed so that they are well suited for the purpose and the final placement is to be clarified with the builder after the contract has been signed.m) The inspection pit with equipment shall be integrated in the roof superstructure with foundations as shown on the sketches in the tender documentation.
