Hire of excavation services

Aurskog-Høland kommune

Aurskog-Høland kommune needs to create a framework agreement for 'Hire of excavation machines'.
The framework agreement will comprise the delivery of up to three excavation machines for hire, including excavation machines for contingency with drivers for assignments anywhere in Aurskog-Høland kommune for the execution of excavation works in connection with the water and sewage network, roads and other construction activities.
The framework agreement has a duration of 2 years, with the possibility to extend with 1 + 1 year. Total 4 years.
The volume of the delivery is estimated to be approximately 2 500 000 NOK per annum, approximately 10 000 000 NOK for a contract period of 4 years. This is only an estimate, assignments will vary each year.
Framework agreement will be entered into with up to 2 (two) qualified tenderers.
These will be ranked according to the award criteria point 6.2 For assignments, the Contracting Authority will contact the first contractor on the list, i.e. the one with the best ranking. If the contractor does not have the capacity, the next contractor on the list will be contacted and so on. This means that number 2 on the list cannot expect a certain amount of assignments.
Should number 1 or number 2 not have submitted prices on options, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to go out on a project when these types of machines are required for execution of works.
The exception to this, is the excavation machine that shall be in the round the clock contingency. The best ranked contractor will be permanently used here.
