Tenders for the procurement of a converged system for NetBackup including service and maintenance.
Statsbygg has a backup system based on NetBackup. We have an infrastructure that is divided between server rooms at 2 locations. We have a NetBackup appliance at 1 location and would like to procure an equivalent system for the server room at the other location.
A contract is therefore needed to procure this.

The contracting authority intends to join up with a company with good competence and sufficient capacity to implement a converged system for NetBackup.Statsbygg currently has server rooms divided between 2 locations — S01 and S02, where all production takes places. The infrastructure is evenly divided between the 2 computer rooms, with a SAN storage cupboard at each location. We have a virtual NetBackup master server and 2 physical media servers divided between the 2 locations. We have 2 HP deduplication boxes as storage for these media servers. These are now too small to handle the size of the backup streams required to take backups within the backup windows. In addition, we have a NetBackup appliance of 76 TB to relieve the HP boxes in server room S01. We would like to procure the equivalent converged system for location S02 so as to be able to replicate the data in the NetBackup appliance box, as well as relieve the HP box at location SO2.

Tenderers shall provide an account of the company's experience within the NetBackup converged system, including service and maintenance.

An overview of the 3 most important comparable contracts carried out in the last 3 years, with a statement of the contracting authority, the contract's size, value and date of execution.
