The purpose of the procurement is to help ensure food safety in that meat and milk from sheep and cattle can be approved for human consumption even if the animals have been grazing in areas with radioactivity. When animals are given a supply of giese salt (Berlin Blue), less of the radioactive material caesium is stored in the muscles and tissue of the animal, and the meat can be eaten. The animals have access to giese salt as it is added into the salt lick stone or in feed concentrate.
The procurement comprises delivery, storage and distribution of salt lick stones with added giese salt (Berlin Blue) and giese salt for adding to feed concentrate (Berlin Blue).
These products are significant for national food safety and for the economy of land use businesses.

Based on consumption from previous years, the Contracting Authority estimates the scope of the procurement to be approximately 6 000 salt lick stones and approximately 300 kg of giese salt for adding to feed concentrate, for a period of 2 years. During the 1st 2 years of the agreement period, the Contracting Authority may have less need to purchase new products due to the existing inventory. Depending on future need for further products, an agreement period of 4 years may include up to 12 000 salt lick stones and up to 600 kg of giese salt for adding to feed concentrate. The need may increase or decrease throughout the agreement period of 4 years, if the consumption or contingency changes.Based on the above information, the value of the procurement for the entire framework agreement period of up to 4 years could be up to 4 500 000 NOK excluding VAT.4 500 000

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
Qualification Requirement: The tenderer shall fulfil their obligations in relation to the payment of tax and VAT.
Documentation requirement: Tax certificate for VAT and tax certificate for tax, no older than 6 months calculated from the submission date.
Qualification requirement: The tenderer shall be a legally established company.
Documentation requirement: Certificate of registration in the company register as described in the law in the country where the tenderer is registered.
For tenderer's registered in Norway: Company registration certificate from The Brønnøysund Register Centre. The certificate shall not be older than 12 months, calculated from the submission date.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Qualification requirement: The tenderer shall have sound financial solidity, liquidity and profitability.
Documentation requirement: Credit rating report with accounting figures from 2014 from a approved credit rating company that confirms the tenderer is credit worthy. Alternatively, the tenderer's Annual Financial Statements for 2014 with Auditor's Report and Annual Report.

Qualification requirement: The tenderer shall have a well functioning quality assurance system for the services to be delivered.
Documentation requirement: Account regarding the tenderer's quality assurance system, including description of procedures that ensure the service of the framework agreement' is delivered in the correct quantity and at the correct time.

Andre særlige vilkår:
Production of salt lick stones and giese salt for adding to feed concentrate shall have added Ammonium iron (III) hexacyanoferrate (II) (giese salt) in a quantity that is documented properly according to the purpose described above. The additives shall be used in accordance with Regulation (EC 1831/2003 and other relevant EU regulations.
