Collection of data for KMD's organisation database

Kommunal- og moderniseringsdepartementet (The Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation) (KMD)

Since 1995, KMD has collected data about municipal organisation. An equivalent data collection is planned for the new year in 2016, after the municipal council and county election in 2015.
The purpose of the project is to obtain data which gives a picture of how the municipalities and county municipalities organise their business politically, administratively, operationally and in regard to the inhabitants, the municipality as a democratic institution. The collection applies to both structural and procedural features of the municipalities organisation.
The data from the survey may be used in the general public debate, in training and as a basis for further research about municipal organisation.
The collection shall assist in knowledge about the development in municipal organisation and shall amongst other things assist with knowledge in the department's work with development of legislation which regulates various sides of municipal organisation. The project is expected to start when the contract is signed. The data collection shall be undertaken in the new year in 2016. Completion of the report is expected in September 2016.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
KRD wants an option on additional purchase for the implementation of an analysis in 2017 and 2018 based on the data collection, The estimated cost frame for the option is 400 000 NOK including VAT in 2013 and 400 000 NOK including VAT in 2014.
