Antall eller omfang
Part of Vestre bekkedrag forms the connection between the established Tiedemanns park and the Teglverksdammen, which is under construction. The main element in Vestre bekkedrag is the re-opened Hovin stream and a continuous footpath with lighting and furniture zones. In addition the last part of Tiedemanns park towards Marienfryd is to be developed as a park. Stålverksparken is the end point for Vestre bekkedrag and it shall mark the transition for the Hovin stream from a natural stream to an urban stream. Stålverksparken shall be developed with water-table, border zones with wooden covering, lighting and footpaths. A temporary stream shall be established between Tiedemannspark and Stålverksparken along Bertrand Narvesensvei, as the last part of Vestre bekkedrag will not be realised in the near future. An Ø1400 AF-pipeline is to be established in order to strengthen the capacity in the sewage network so as to facilitate the future town transformation in the Økern area and the lower part of Groruddalen. The pipeline installations shall be laid along the route for Vestre bekkedrag.
