Procurement of Dose planning system for VMAT

The request concerns the delivery of a dose planning system with functionality adapted to the areas of use as described in appendix A, the requirement specification. Tenders are requested for 2 systems (licenses) for St. Olavs Hospital HF and 1 system (license) for the Kreftavdelinga HMR HF (Cancer Department), with an option for extending the licenses. It may be possible to submit a tender for a shared server solution between the hospitals.
Following a national plan, in a few years a centre for proton treatment will be established in Norway.. All of the Norwegian University Hospitals now work in collaboration to build up expertise in this regard. It is therefore also desirable to receive tenders for options on a dose planning system (license) which is possible to use for dose planning with protons. The tendered system and option(s) shall be relevant in a period of 2 - two - years from signing of contract.
The tenderer is free to offer other advances or software for better functionality, in addition to the requirements in this requirement specification.
This particular tender must include service agreements which specify content and price. All of the necessary software licenses required to utilise the functionality of a product must be priced individually.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right to maintain funding before a potential contract signing. The competition may be subject to cancellation in circumstances where funding is lacking.
