The Norwegian Coastal Administration has approx. 100 base stations plus accessories located at 52 places along the entire coast. The current equipment is more than 10 years old and is showing signs of instability and requires more cost demanding maintenance.
This contract is for the delivery and installation of approx. 50 AIS complete stations in addition to approx. 20 base stations. The number can be adjusted. The contract is also for an operational contract and consultancy services.
Consultancy services means the supplier's competence in optimising the existing installations as well as planning and implementing new installations along the coast, including polar areas.
Furthermore, the contract has an option for approx. 30 complete PSSs excluding VHF aerials. Furthermore, complete aerials will be a part of the option.
