Sørlandet hospital - Drift/Hotellservice would like to target its efforts to prevent sick leave and help those on sick leave get back to work quicker.
We would like to engage an actor who can offer services aimed at prevention, clarification and individual training for those on sick leave, so that the sick leave in the entity is reduced. As a minimum the actor must offer training/exercise in Arendal, Kristiansand and Flekkefjord.
The aim is to have the highest possible percentage of people in work and the lowest possible sick leave rate. Hotellservice has approx. 260 manlabour years and approx. 400 employees. The sick leave rate is 8.8% on average.
The aim of the assignment is to give the managers in the clinic a tool with which they can offer employees who are on sick leave or in danger of being on sick leave guidance on health and physical activity combined with individual training programmes adapted to the employee's health/illness from qualified personnel. The training/guidance shall be carried out in Arendal, Kristiansand and Flekkefjord.
The target group is employees who are on sick leave or in danger of being on sick leave. This applies to all employees who are on sick leave or who are in danger of being on sick leave (approx. 8.8% absence on average), Hotellservice has activities at all the hospitals in the Agder counties and consists of the following units: Kitchen and canteen operations, transport and supply services and cleaning and textile services.
There are 8 unit managers who report to the department manager, who again reports to the clinic director.
We will have an actor that the managers in the respective units can apply to if and when they have employees who are on sick leave or as a preventive measure. The hospital will not bind itself to a given number of participants at any one time, but it will be bound to use the chosen actor in the mentioned cases.
Sørlandet hospital has its own BHT(company health service). This is a natural team player in the work of following up those on sick leave and will be included in the resources that the hospital provides for the follow up work.
