LC/MS/MS with ready applications for vitamin D and benzodiazepines in serum

The awarding authority would like tenders for the delivery of one LC/MS/MS with ready installed applications for the analysis of vitamin D and Bedzodiazepins in serum for the Centre for Laboratory Medicine, Section for Special and Interdisciplinary Support Functions, Fredrikstad, Norway.
The instrument shall be used for typical LC/MS/MS applications within clinical chemisty such as vitamins, metabolites and medicaments in various body fluids.
The system shall be fully automatic and it shall have a minimum of sample processing, at the same time the system is to be user friendly, flexible, robust and reliable.
Based on the awarding authorityi's knowledge of the market, not all suppliers in the market can deliver both an analysis instrument and consumables. So as to ensure equal treatment, consumables will not be a part of the contract, there will be a separate contract for consumables after the anaysis instrument has been chosen.
The type of material that shall be used will depend on which analysis instrument is chosen. Some analysis instruments can use consumables that is equipment/supplier independent, whilst other analysis instruments require equipment/supplier specific materials. The estimated volume for consumables can vary from the choice of the analysis instrument and which analysis method it has. The awarding authority will therefore not be able to described the expected need for consumables, nor the type of materials or volume. Some of the consumabls can also be contract products in the existing regional contracts that the awarding authority is obligated to use. If the existing framework agreements are more advantageous for the awarding authority, these prices will form the basis for an evaluation of the analysis costs.
Consumables that are equipment/supplier dependent shall be accounted for and will be included in the procurement.
