The objective of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement with a supplier of periodicals. The contract includes administration and delivery of subscription services of periodicals to Statistics Norway's (the Awarding Authority) library. The Awarding Authority uses Mercell Sourcing Service in this tender procedure. Credit appraisal/rating based on the most recent accounting figures - shall not be lower than rating A or equivalent and not older than 6 months from deadline for receipt of tenders

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

(1) A statement of the quality assurance/quality control system operated by the company.

References from corresponding assignments for the previous 3 years are required. This shall be substantiated by presenting a list of relevant assignments. The list shall contain information of names and telephone numbers of contacts. Good technical and professional qualifications are required.

- The Awarding Authority uses the library system BIBSYS. From autumn 2013, the Awarding Authority will also take on BIBSYS' new Discovery service. It is expected that the service provider has good communication with BIBSYS and is able to deliver files with library graphical data for import in the library system and other BIBSYS services.

- The tenderer shall have good knowledge of the international and Nordic periodical market and have good communication channels towards publishing firms and publishers, as well as towards central participants in the Norwegian periodical business sector. E.g. the consortium provider CRIStin (Current Research Information System in Norway).

- The tenderer shall have good experience with distribution and procurement of Norwegian and international periodicals - both paper copies as well as electronic format
