EØS 013-2013 Framework agreement, waterway engineering consultancy and engineering design services

Bergen kommune

Bergen municipality, c/o the Water and Sewage department, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, is i.a responsible for operation of waterway systems in Bergen municipality, which have been or are connected to the municipality's water supply system. The operational responsibility includes i.a. 61 dam structures placed under the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate's (NVE) control and regulations.
The Awarding Authority therefore intends to enter into parallel framework agreements with 3 service providers regarding technical consultancy and engineering design services for the following agreement areas:
- Waterway systems and dam structures

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

The framework agreement period is 2 years from contract signing. Option for the Awarding Authority to prolong the agreement with further 2 years. Total maximum contract period is 4 years.

The service provider must present approval from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate's (NVE) with approved specialist personel for all five specialized fields, for Consequence Classes 1-4 (all classes).

The assignment requires service providers who can verify good systems for quality assurance. The Awarding Authority requires documented systems and routines which ensure low environmental impact in connection with implementation of the assignment (see the qualification documents for further details of the requirement).
