Farris bridge is situated on the E18 as a part of the lot for the new E18 between Bommestad and Sky in Larvik municipality. The E18 shall be constructed as a 4 lane motorway with standard class S9 on the entire stretch. Farris bridge is an inclined suspension bridge with the main span as an integrated cross section of steel and concrete. The main span is 120 m long and consists of two parallel steel boxes connected with transverse bulkheads every 4 metres. Above the steel boxes there is a concrete cover that consists of prefabricated concrete elements and concrete cast on site. The rest of the bridge is constructed as concrete box bridge with the same form as the main span. The total length of the bridge is 570 m. -Tenderers shall have experience from work of the same nature and degree of difficulty. Statens vegvesen (The Norwegian Public Roads Administration) and other awarding authorities' experiences with the tenderer will be assessed.
-Technical and professional competence and relevant experience in key persons who will be used for the assignment is required. The competence and experience shall be documented, cf. the tender documents chapter E2, point 4.4.2, form E2-4.4.2.
-The average H1 value (accident frequency) for the last three years shall be lower than 15, cf. the tender documents chapter E2, point 4.2.1, form E2-4.2.1.
