E18 Bommestad - Sky: Construction of Farris bridge

Farris bridge is situated on the E18 as a part of the lot for the new E18 between Bommestad and Sky in Larvik municipality. The E18 shall be constructed as a 4 lane motorway with standard class S9 on the entire stretch. Farris bridge is an inclined suspension bridge with the main span as an integrated cross section of steel and concrete. The main span is 120 m long and consists of two parallel steel boxes connected with transverse bulkheads every 4 metres. Above the steel boxes there is a concrete cover that consists of prefabricated concrete elements and concrete cast on site. The rest of the bridge is constructed as concrete box bridge with the same form as the main span. The total length of the bridge is 570 m.

Tenderers are required to have positive equity. If a tenderer is a working partnership, the requirement applies to each participant, cf. the tender document's chapter E2, point 4.3.1, form E2-4.3.1.

The tenderers average annual turnover ought to be at least equally as big as the annual turnover generated by this contract, cf. the tender documents chapter E2, point 4.4.1, form E2-4.4.1.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

-Tenderers shall have experience from work of the same nature and degree of difficulty. Statens vegvesen (The Norwegian Public Roads Administration) and other awarding authorities' experiences with the tenderer will be assessed.
-Technical and professional competence and relevant experience in key persons who will be used for the assignment is required. The competence and experience shall be documented, cf. the tender documents chapter E2, point 4.4.2, form E2-4.4.2.
-The average H1 value (accident frequency) for the last three years shall be lower than 15, cf. the tender documents chapter E2, point 4.2.1, form E2-4.2.1.
Minste nivå(er) av standarder:
-Tenderers are required to refer to references of relevant contracts that they have carried out in a satisfactory way.
-Project manager, site manager, operations manager, SHE/environment manager shall, as a minimum, have a university og college degree or other equivalent and relevant education. The shift manager shall, as a minimum, have technical vocational college or other relevant education. All key personnel shall have experience from sites with equivalent complexity and shall be able to refer to good cooperation abilities, cf. the tender documents chapter C2, point 5.

-An account shall be enclosed with the tender, showing how the tenderer will organise this contract. Important conditions here are, that the organisation is sufficiently manned and that the tenderer has the capacity and ability to handle unforeseen conditions in the contract.

-Tenderers shall document experience of constructing inclined suspension bridges and shall supply references for having executed of complicated foundation assignments with piles cast on site or large abysses.
-If the H1 value is higher than 15, an account shall be given of the development tendency for the H1 value and any F-value, which will express the seriousness of any high H1 value. Furthermore an account shall be enclosed with the tender of whether improvement measures have been implemented, and if so, documentation of their effect.
