The immigrants’ adaptation to working life and the welfare system during period of residence

The Ministry of Labour, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, wishes to enter into an agreement regarding delivery of the project “The immigrants’ adaptation to working life and the welfare system during period of residence”. The motivation for the project is that the Awarding Authority wishes to obtain more information of various immigrant groups adaptation to the working life and welfare system during period of residence and receive more information of the reasons that some immigrant groups appear to have relatively early retirement from employment and that use of welfare services increase more for these groups than for other comparable groups in the population. Further information is given in the tender documents’ annex 1; “the Awarding Authority’s description of the Assignment” (“Oppdragsgivers beskrivelse av Oppdraget”). The delivery shall as a minimum contain one article or report in Norwegian or English. The delivery shall describe and analyse the immigrant groups’ adaptation to the labour market and the welfare system in relation to other comparable groups in the population. It shall also discuss and explain motives for observed differences.
