Restoration of the existing Norwegian/Russian border fence

Mountain and east-westbound of Vuorjecearru, Sør-Varanger municipality, Finnmark County. A section 11 km. It shall be replaced and supplemented with 2 200 poles on the section. The existing fence shall be replaced with wire in addition to 2 over cords.
The fence shall be fasten with a backstay where the fence has an angel and the backstays shall be marked. On two locations the fence shall be moved a couple of hundred metres and the old section shall be cleared, poles from the old section which is not in poor condition or decayed shall be used in the new rearranged section. One gate shall also be relocated.
In a section of approx. 3 km the fence pools shall be moved closer together from a distance of 4 metre from each pole to a distance of 3 metres which is in accordance with Border fence standard for the Norwegian/Russian fence border. Inspection of the section will be carried out prior to start of works in such a way that the tenderer will obtain a complete overview of what should be done.
The poles must be trusted/drilled down into the ground with a depth of approx. 50 cm. The erection of the wire with a wire height of approx. 125 cm with minimum 3 clinchers per pole and with a height of 2 heights with 2 over cords above the wire. The height of the poles is 3 metres with impregnated standard border fence poles and these shall be erected with a distance of 3 metres between the poles.
This is in accordance with Border fence standard for the Norwegian/Finnish border fence.
Erection/building of the fence shall be executed professionally and approved by the reindeer management agronomist. The professional execution shall be in accordance with long-term practise and any questions shall be addressed the reindeer management agronomist.
It is the tenderer’s responsibility to erect/build the fences in accordance with professional standard. Transport of old fence materials/waste to approved disposal site. The disposal site receipt shall be presented.
