Gene technology based tests for detection/quantitation of hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus

Norwegian Institute of Public Health is conducting an open tender procedure with the aim to establish a contract for the supply of Gene technology based tests for the detection and quantitation of hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus. The tests must be approved as in-vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDD) (CE- marked) according to the current regulations (regulations on in vitro diagnostic medical devices) and meet the given specifications in the Tender Notice document.
The procurements scope is estimated at approximately 2500 HBV tests and HCV 800 tests per year. This is an estimate and the number of tests that may be required per year may differ from this.
As a reference laboratory Norwegian Institute of Public Health is dependent on tests are that are of limited use in Norway, while being well tested internationally.
The competition will be carried out as an open tender procedure, a one-step process in which all interested suppliers are able to submit tenders. Negotiations are not allowed.
