The University of Tromsø, Centre of Forensic Genetics, Institute of Medical Biology, Faculty of Health Sciences, will purchase one capillary electrophoresis instrument with supplementary reagents/consumables and software. The instrument will be used for both human identification (DNA-typing) for the Norwegian police and for forensic research at the University. The instrument will be used for STR-typing and DNA sequencing (Big-dye terminator chemistry).
