Framework agreements for storage tape and tape drivers

The tender concerns the following two framework areas:
1. T10k compatible tape drives to our SL8500 tape libraries
2. Tape media for T10k compatible tape drivers
The National Library of Norway wishes to establish a framework agreement for each of the two framework areas. Each framework agreement will be concluded with one supplier. Alternatively, there shall be concluded only one agreement for both areas, if the same supplier wins both areas.

Initially, we plan to purchase 4 tape drives to each tape library, i.e. a total of 8 tape drivers in the T10kC-standard or equivalent. Possible supplementary purchases of up to four years from the conclusion of the agreement.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The agreements have a duration of two years from the signing of the contract, with an option for the National Library of Norway to extend the agreement for an additional 1 + 1 years, so that the framework agreement's maximum duration is four years.
