Framework agreement - carbon source to denitrification

Nedre Romerike Avløpsselskap IKS

Nedre Romerike Avløpsselskap IKS (NRA) and Nordre Follo renseanlegg IKS (NFR), henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall enter into framework agreements for delivery of carbon source to denitrification in the biological nitrogen removal steps (purged levels) at the facilities.
NRA is situated in rock halls near Lillestrøm in Skedsmo municipality. The wastewater treatment comprises of grid, sand and grease traps, mechanical pre-sedimentation, biological removal of nitrogen with pre- and after-denitrification and chemical precipitation in after-sedimentation. The carbon source shall be used for after-denitrification.
NFR is situated at Høyungsletta near Tusenfryd in Ås municipality. The wastewater treatment comprises of grid and sand traps, mechanical pre-sedimentation, biological removal of nitrogen with pre- and after-denitrification and chemical precipitation in flotation. The carbon source shall be used in both pre- and after-denitrification.
