EØS 4.5.2012 Rock and foundation works for upgrading of Holen & Flesland sewage treatment plant

Bergen kommune

Bergen municipality, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall during the next few years expand and upgrade four of the largest mechanical sewage treatment plants in the municipality:
The following plants shall be upgraded:
— Ytre Sandviken sewage treatment plant,
— Kverneviken sewage treatment plant,
— Holen sewage treatment plant,
— Flesland sewage treatment plant.
All plants are situated in rock. In connection with the upgrading of the plants, new rock halls/transport tunnels shall be blasted simultaneously with expansion of the existing rock halls/transport tunnels. The Awarding Authority has previously entered into contracts for execution of rock and foundation works in relation to the upgrading of Ytre Sandviken sewage treatment plant and Kvernevik sewage treatment plant.
This qualification documents involve prequalification for participation in a tender contest for 2 different contracts:
F3 Rock and foundation works; Holen sewage treatment plant (EØS 004-2012).
F1 Rock and foundation works Flesland sewage treatment plant (EØS 005-2012).
The Awarding Authority requests independent tenders for the two contracts F3 and F1. Prequalified contractors will receive the tender documents in separate folders and must decide if tenders are to be given for one or both contracts.
The tenders will be assessed separately, but the tenderer is invited to give discount to the Awarding Authority if both contracts are awarded.
Contract will be entered into in accordance with NS8405:2008. Any alterations and specifications will be given in the tender documents.
