Helse Vest RHF invites suppliers to a contest for the delivery of electronic tools for clinical practice, research and quality improvement efforts. The agreement shall cover Helse Bergen HF and include an option for other enterprises in Helse Vest RHF and the ideal private institutions that have agreements with Helse Vest RHF.
Helse Vest RHF shall procure an electronic measuring and mapping tool for use within the Psychiatry Department and the Department of Drug Abuse in Bergen within the following areas:
— Clinical Work,
— Research activity,
— Quality Work.
The purpose of the procurement of an electronic measuring and mapping tool is to get an available tool for the measurements that are required to perform patient care, quality assurance and research. Expectations for such a unified platform include the following benefits:
Quantitative benefits:
— Less manual entry work.
— Faster and easier access to the necessary information.
— Data is readily available for patient care, management information, reporting and research.
Quantitive benefits:
— Increased privacy with better control of sensitive information.
— Increased quality of patient assessment and treatment.
— Increased patient involvement and self-efficacy in the treatment.
— Systematic management of licenses for the system and for the professional measuring tools.
— Increased quality of collected data.
