E18 Sydhavna main contract, new access to Oslo port

E18 Sydhavna, new access, mainly consists of the establishment of a new two level junction in Mosseveien at Kongshavn/Karlsborgveien. E18 Mosseveien is to be led with one through lane in each direction in a concrete culvert under the junction as well as ramps for joining and exiting the junction. Traffic to and from the port will be led via a roundabout over the E18 and onto a new bridge from this, over the railway and down to the port area.
Mosseveien is to have one through lane in each direction in addition to a public transport lane for both incoming and outgoing public transport.
Pedstrians and cyclists will have their own route parallel to Havneveien, via the bridge up to the E18 Mosseveien and along Mosseveien through the plan area. In addition the foot and cycle route from the north is to be continued.
A large supporting wall is to be constructed along the railway in the area Kongshavn for the expansion of Mosseveien with ramps and as a land abutment for a new bridge down to the port. Further south Mosseveien is to be extended with a half bridge system along the Østfold railway. The site involves major challenges with work close by an operational railway line.
