This procurement covers the track constructions for phase 3 of Bybanen including rail tracks for the main line and tracks in the Depot. The total track length is 19.5 km, excluding turnouts. 6.8 km of double track (or 13.7 km of single track) is t— be laid between Rådal and the Bergen airport Flesland and 5.8 km in the depot area. Delivery of Turnouts/ Switches & Crossings is not included in this competition and will be a separate competition/contract.
The delivery will consist of a number of different track constructions with both grooved rails (60R2) and Vignole rails (49E1). This includes primarily ballasted track, but als— open slab track and embedded track. The tracks shall be built as standard gauge, 1435 mm track. All required resources, materials, machines and equipment t— complete the construction shall be included in the delivery, with the exception of turnouts.
The procurement als— includes detailed design and optimization of the track arrangement.
