Building inspections:
It is necessary to conduct building inspections for parts of the buildings above the tunnel and along the structures for a new double track. The contract includes preparation, execution and reporting of building inspections (in accordance with Norwegian Standard 8141-1:2012) on nearby affected properties. Especially in the areas that might be exposed to settling damages and where blasting works shall be carried out.
Internal and external inspections shall be carried out and for some buildings/structures what is known as extended inspections shall be carried out. The works must be executed in several stages based on the progress of the project. The assignment may also include construction engineering follow up and consultancy related to possibly damage cases.
Noise level and vibration measurements: It is necessary to conduct noise level and vibration measurements along the line during the construction period.
It must be prepared, executed and delivered reports on noise level and vibration measurements on nearby properties and surroundings, particularly in the influence areas which may be exposed to settling damages and where blasting works and/or other vibration and noise works are carried out.
The measurements shall be conducted in several areas simultaneously with various works that are closely connected to planning and time schedule. The noise level measurements must also be conducted prior to construction works in such a way that reference levels in relation to before, during and after situations are covered. The measurements shall be conducted in several stages based on the progress of the project.
