In close vicinity of the existing Vittingfoss Power Station a new power station shall be constructed - Vittingfoss generator 5.
The building and construction contract will include:
— draining of the inlet area,
— demolition of the existing dam,
— excavating and blasting,
— concrete works in connection with a new dam,
— concrete works inlet and head race,
— concrete works around the kaplan (water) turbine and generator,
— concrete works in draft tube,
— delivery of the power station’s building,
— concrete works in the output channel.
