The instrument must have a minimum range of 2 000 meters on an 80 % reflectivity target and be able to scan wet surfaces, snow and ice. The instrument must permit the acquisition of digital color pictures, software upgradeability and adaptation to future developments. The instrument should insure reliability for fieldwork in harsh conditions and be robust enough to be transported by car, airplane, helicopter or boat.
Bidders will include all the basic requirements for data acquisition (fixed support, operating software, controlling unit and a back-up power supply if necessary) and software for the processing of datasets (Polyworks or similar). Optional features will also be considered, such as systems to operate the terrestrial laser scanner on a "moving" support (car, boat), real-time warning solutions for rockfalls, operator documentation manuals, upgrades within the next 5 years, etc. The instrument should be delivered and test accepted within five (5) months after the issuing of the Purchase Order. Training on operation and maintenance is to be included in the bid price.

e. total price including cost of maintenance and software upgrading;

g. references and performance for similar applications;
h. warranty.
