Bergen Municipality has approx. 900 km of water pipes and approx. 1 200 km of sewer pipes. The annual objective is to replace approx. 10 km of sewer pipe and approx 8,0 km of water pipe. It is an objective that 75 % of sewer network replacement and 50 % of water network replacement shall be done by use of excavation-free techniques (No-Dig).
This procurement covers a framework agreement for execution of NoDig (excavation-free) work on existing water and sewage system, together with pipe inspection of public and private connection lines and renovation of manholes. Even though no dig methods shall mainly be used - there will be some associated excavations.

The objective is to replace as much as possible of the pipework system within this cost frame.It is calculated that approx. 4 km of the water system and approx. 6.5 km of the sewage system can be replaced within the above costings.Total contract value including options approx. 240 000 000 NOK.
