Haukland power station - new feed pipe to a new power station

A new feed pipe shall be delivered for a new power station, which shall replace the existing power station with 2 feed pipes along the same route.
Total length approx. 1 110 m.
Dimension DN 1000-DN1200. The final dimension will be chosen before the tender enquiry is sent out.
Maximum static pressure approx. 255m.
The existing self-closing valves will be kept. The new pipe is to be connected to the downstream’s self-closing valves via a new Y-pipe.
GRP pipe shall be used in the upper part, ductile cast iron pipe in the lowest part. The estimate is approx. 530m of GRP pipe, approx. 580m of ductile cast iron pipe. The final transition place between the GRP and ductile cast iron pipes will be clarified at a later date.
