Award authority requires 6 Grossing Stations in connection with reconstruction of the pathology wing at Helse Stavanger HF.
The grossing station shall be used for macro sectioning of untreated and formalin-treated tissues. The grossing station must have a good ergonomic design. The grossing station shall protect the operator against dangerous gases from chemicals (formalin) and against squirts from formalin and tissue liquids. The grossing station shall be connected to water, sewage and existing extract system. The grossing station must fit into the existing premises.
