Ensjø station shall be upgraded and modernised based upon a solution which satisfies the requirements for all round design and consists of the following main objects: demolition of Narvesen kiosk, demolition of store/paint hall, demolition of existing platforms, demolition of concrete footbridge. Excavation, blasting, piling and possible sheet piling. Laying foundations, construction/installation of new platforms, ramps, stairs and paths. Construction of a technical room, entrance zones, environmental covers shall be built over half the station, platform ceilings over the rest of the platforms, new footbridge with ramp and stairs shall be established. District heating of platforms, entrance zones, ramps, stairs and footbridge shall be built. In addition there will be electrical works, WHS and station furniture.
