An assessment of national management training for managers in nursery schools. This is a new training service for managers/ general managers with professional responsibility, administrative responsibility and personnel responsibility. The training shall be offered both newly employed managers and managers with longer experience from municipal and private nursery schools.
The objective of the training is to strengthen managers’ competence in such a way that he/she improves the management skill in the practical work. The service shall be offered at 5 various study locations and both tenderers and students shall be subject to assessment. The assessment shall provide a total evaluation of the manager training. The assessment shall include comparison and assessment of the training service to the institutions that offer management training. A vital element of the assessment is to assess if the training reach the national goals defined for the training. The results from the assessment shall provide control information which can be use as a basis for development and improvement of the training service.
