The contracting authority is responsible for laboratory services for the inhabitants of the region. In addition to the services that our health trusts provide, the contracting authority would like to enter into agreements for the provision of outpatient laboratory services from private providers. Together this will contribute to fulfilling the contracting authority's 'taking care of' responsibility in the region.

A framework agreement shall be entered into regarding execution of chemical, physical, bacteriological and biological analyses, including required test equipment and transport of the samples to the municipalities Fredrikstad and Hvaler where the samples shall be analysed.
