The project is for the construction of a new national road between Sandnes and Harstadberg (4.26 km) as well as a foot and cycle path from Kveste to Harstad (1.77 km) in Valle municipality in Aust-Agder county. The new national road 9 shall be constructed with a width of 7.5 m and it will mainly follow the current route, except at Kveste and Sandnes. The contract consists of routine operational assignments and minor maintenance assignments on the road network in accordance with orders from the awarding authority. The works assume that the machines include a driver.
