The soil drilling rig must be able to carry out all types of drilling as specified in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's Manual R211: ‘Field Surveys’ (The Norwegian Public Roads Administration 1997) and the guidelines in NGF's descriptive texts for ground survey methods, and manual V222, ‘Geotechnical Field Manual’.
